Welcome to
Welcome to St. Peter's CE Primary Academy. We are one of a number of brand new schools to have opened in September 2018. We began life in our custom built facility with three teachers, three teaching assistants and three classrooms. The vision and experience of our small staff made the mammoth undertaking of opening a new school extremely positive. Indeed, we have already grown to 14 classes and pupil numbers are closing in on the final capacity of the building: 420. For prospective parents, our pupil outcomes and OFSTED report are well worth a read. We are proud of them all. The best indicator of our success, however, is the happy and settled children who are already engaging well with the broad and challenging curriculum at St. Peter's.

Reception were treated to an art exhibition this afternoon! Year 6 were looking at installation art using light and made artwork that was designed to be immersive. After they finished this week, Marshwood and Little Durnford were invited up to be their audience; they got to look at all of the artwork and give feedback about how it made them feel.

A huge well done to all our runners who took part in the Salisbury Schools Mini Marathon on Saturday! Everyone showed great resilience and determination, especially in running up the hills. A special shout out to our Year 5/6 boys' team for coming in first place overall, our Year 3/4 boys' team for coming in third place overall, Travis in Year 4 for coming in second place in his race and Ms Brady for winning hers. Another St Peter's sporting triumph

It was such a pleasure to take our referees on a special trip to see @salisburyfootballclub play on Saturday! We were lucky enough to get to sit in the dug-out, meet the match referees and the players and even go onto the pitch for a photo with everyone just before kick-off. It was a lovely afternoon in the sun, made even better with a Salisbury win! Thank you so much to Salisbury FC for making it such a great day.

Happy World Book Day! Yesterday we celebrated all things reading with a day focused on books. We tried out different stories, learned about key historical figures through non-fiction books and decorated our doors. The school was buzzing with excitement and creativity as the making commenced and the competition was fierce! Well done to everyone for the effort you put towards both the doors and your brilliant costumes. #worldbookday

What a fantastic day of learning and fundraising we had on Friday. Children wore brilliant number-themed outfits - from football shirts with favourite numbers to patterns of spots and stripes. Classes enjoyed fun problem-solving activities throughout the day, putting their maths skills to the test. We are incredibly proud to have raised over £300 for the @nspcc_official. Thank you to everyone who supported this special day!

We are so pleased to announce our Pupil Parliament MPs for this year! After many thoughtful speeches, lots of votes cast and plenty of tense waiting, the winning candidates were revealed in a special assembly this afternoon by Mr Martindale, Mrs Morris and Mrs Rynne. Our new MPs were proudly presented with their special gold ties, which they will wear every day as a symbol of their responsibility and leadership. A huge congratulations to our Prime Minister, Zara, who is joined by Deputy Prime Ministers Rithika and Ted. Together, they will lead the MPs and ministers within their ministries, representing the voices of our school community. We are so excited to see all they will achieve this year!
