Welcome to
Welcome to St. Peter's CE Primary Academy. We are one of a number of brand new schools to have opened in September 2018. We began life in our custom built facility with three teachers, three teaching assistants and three classrooms. The vision and experience of our small staff made the mammoth undertaking of opening a new school extremely positive. Indeed, we have already grown to 14 classes and pupil numbers are closing in on the final capacity of the building: 420. For prospective parents, our pupil outcomes and OFSTED report are well worth a read. We are proud of them all. The best indicator of our success, however, is the happy and settled children who are already engaging well with the broad and challenging curriculum at St. Peter's.

Where to next?
What’s up next?
At St. Peter's we are passionate about engaging parents. One way we do this is by offering an extensive programme of parent workshops to enhance our curriculum
It's Science Week at St Peter's! From exploring animals and body parts in year 1 to investigating the circulatory system in year 6, the school has been full of curiosity, discovery and "wow" moments!
Year 6 enjoyed a day at the British Museum getting to see all their learning about Benin come to life. They had a talk all about what life was like during the Kingdom and how the Oba ruled his people. Then, they got to see the actual artefacts they've been looking at all term on display. It was a long day of travel but worth it for the experience!
We are running tours for potential new parents over the next few months! We'd love to show you around our school.
Year 6 had an unforgettable time away with @landandwave on their long-awaited residential. With perfect weather and plenty of sunshine, they threw themselves into swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and so much more! They've returned with amazing memories, tanned faces and definitely some sleep to catch up on
Year 4 had a very special visit from @tamaraillustration this morning, who showed us how to bring our own mythical creatures to life using water colours and fine liners
An excellent year for St. Peter's
We've had an incredible day celebrating our value of aspiration! The costumes have been amazing and we've been hearing about (and getting to try out!) all the different careers from our wonderful volunteers. We are so grateful to everyone who gave up their day to come inspire our children - they have loved it.
On Monday, we had a Big Teddy Takeover to raise money for @juliashousechildrenshospice Mrs Chalmers came in to speak to us about all the important work that she does as a fundraising manager and we ended up raising over £250 to support them.
We loved having @mandmtheatrical come in to give a performance of Treasure Island this week! Year 6 even got to take part in a workshop afterwards - perfect practise for their upcoming performance of Cinderella! A huge thank you to Friends of St Peter's for funding this end of year treat.
Our EYFS explorers had a wild day out at Marwell Zoo! From spotting giraffes to posing with meerkats, the children loved every moment of their adventure and it was a fantastic way to bring their learning to life.
