Strive Beyond; Defy Limits

Covid-19

St. Peter's was open for vulnerable pupils and pupils of key worker parents during the lockdown. We were able to offer additional provision for Year R and 1 from early June and then all pupils from July 1 2020. Our new building afforded us the space to offer daily, on-site classes for all children whilst school closures were common place elsewhere. Roughly 85% of children returned before the summer holiday.

Since that time, our 'new' school has grown in size by over 50 pupils. We are fully operational with some slight amendments to timings and organisation.

Additionally, we know that children and staff may be faced with the prospect of self-isolating whilst they wait for test results or because they have fallen ill. Home learning will be supported through Seesaw and there is some fantastic content on the BBC website and a variety of other websites listed below.

As ever, if you are unsure about sending your child into school, follow the national guidelines and support from the NHS, DfE and by calling 111. Click here for support with making that decision.

For those who are eligible, we have moved to the national voucher scheme set up by the government with Edenred. All eligible St Peter's parents/carers have been successfully set up to receive their vouchers from Monday of next week with Edenred. We are aware however that, due to the significant volume of vouchers to process, there may be a delay in the receipt of your voucher codes and we would ask you to be patient.
